1970's Maya 335

Little is known about this guitar except that it plays beautifully. It is a semi-acoustic guitar based on the Gibson 335. It was probably built in Korea or somewhere in the Far East.

The woods used are very nice and the neck is thin and easy to play. It looks like a mahogany veneer body on a lighter wood base (Ash or Maple?). The neck is jointed to the body rather than a single neck section running through the body of the guitar.

The humbucker pick-ups produce a nice sound and the guitar will produce controlled feedback almost at will on almost any note.
